HEALTH AND SAFETY, MANAGEMENT/TRAINING
Occupational health and safety are primary concerns for businesses and employers. BENAS' approach is to design and implement work place safety programs within our client's budget and flexibility. Identification, verification and evaluation of chemical, physical and other hazardous conditions form the bedrock of the work place safety program(s), with an aim of reducing and/or minimizing exposure to risk factors. BENAS' worker protection program is guidance on exposure to risk factors, providing control/elimination measures through engineering and work practices, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and programs. BENAS Scope of Work (SOW) for each project outlines the type of contamination, testing parameters, type of monitoring and techniques, project documentation and comprehensive report preparation.
Health and Safety programs are designed and implemented in accordance to Regulatory Standards, such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Department of Transportation (DOT), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Texas Department of Health (TDH), Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) and other applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations/Requirements. The test objective is to quantify or assess worker exposure during a full work shift (usually 8-hour time weighted average), and to reduce or eliminate exposure where and when necessary.
